Refund Policy

1. General principle
This refund policy applies to paid plans purchased through the Starify service (starify.pinc.be). Payments and refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record for Starify.
The Free plan and the one-month free trial are not subject to this policy, as no payment is collected.
2. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with European consumer law, consumers have a right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase of a paid plan.
Starify is a digital service delivering immediate online access to Pro features. In accordance with Article VI.53, 13° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law and Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU:
Once the Pro features have been made available to you, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised, provided that you have given your prior consent to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledged the loss of your right of withdrawal.
This consent is requested during the ordering process.
2.1 Before Pro features are activated
If, for any technical reason, your paid plan has been charged but the Pro features have not yet been activated on your account, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase.
2.2 After Pro features are activated
Once your paid plan is active on your account, the right of withdrawal no longer applies, in accordance with the rule recalled above.
2.3 Business customers
For business customers (legal entities and self-employed professionals acting within their professional activity), no right of withdrawal applies under European consumer law. Section 4 below (special cases) nevertheless remains available.

4. Special cases
4.1 Technical issue
If a technical issue on our part prevents the delivery of the Pro features for a prolonged period, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of the time elapsed since activation.
4.2 Accidental or duplicate charge
If you have been charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after you had cancelled your subscription before renewal), you are entitled to a full refund of the disputed amount.
4.3 Non-renewal refund window
We do not issue automatic refunds for subscriptions that renewed after you forgot to cancel. However, if the renewal was processed within the last 14 days and you have not made substantive use of the Pro features since the renewal, we will review your request on a goodwill basis.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund:
- By email: send your request to starify@pinc.be specifying your order number and the reason for your request;
- Via Paddle: you may also contact Paddle directly via the link in your order confirmation email.
6. Refund processing
- Refunds are processed by Paddle via the payment method used at the time of purchase;
- Processing time is generally 5 to 10 business days after approval of the request;
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued;
- After a refund of your annual subscription, access to Pro features ends and your account reverts to the Free plan.
