For SATB choirs, jazz combos, worship teams & string quartets

Know your part before rehearsal.

Your band records its own songs. Starify turns those recordings into a practice tool — solo your part, mute it, loop the hard bars, slow them down. Walk in Thursday already comfortable with the piece.

The problem

Your band already has the recordings. The practice tool? Not so much.

Files scattered across Drive and Dropbox. A catalog app that doesn't know your repertoire. Karaoke hacks that kill your part. Starify replaces all of it with one focused tool — built on your recordings.

Scattered files

Soprano.wav in Drive. Score.pdf in WhatsApp. Lyrics in a Google Doc. Nobody finds what they need before Thursday.

One-size-fits-all mix

A single stereo file means everyone practices against the same thing. Can't solo your voice. Can't mute it to hear the rest. Can't loop that tricky bar.

Rehearsal = first pass

Rehearsals burned on notes people could drill at home — not on phrasing, blend, interpretation.

In 30 seconds

From scattered files to rehearsal-ready.

Three steps. One workspace. Every member walks in already knowing their part.

1 Leader

Upload your recordings.

One track per section — soprano, alto, guitar, bass, whatever your group uses. Add sheet music and lyrics. Takes minutes.

Cut the hard bits into passages.

Mark the bridge, the chorus, bars 24–32. Group passages into focused playlists for this week's rehearsal, next month's concert.

Practice, on your phone.

Members open the app, pick their part. Solo it. Mute it. Loop the bridge. Slow to 0.75×. Arrive confident.

Not just a player

Built for the way musicians actually learn.

Hear yourself in context.

Solo your part to drill it. Mute it to lock in with the others. Play the full mix to feel the piece. One tap — no editing software, no karaoke trick.

Drill the hard bits.

Loop a passage. Drop to half-tempo. Jump back five seconds. Read the score as it scrolls. Built for repetition — not passive playback.

Everyone, on the same page.

Leaders cut the songs once; every member gets the right passages, filtered to their voice or instrument. No zip files. No email threads.

For choirs

Every voice gets its own practice track.

Soprano, alto, tenor, bass — and any custom section you use. Members pick theirs once, and every playlist, every passage comes filtered to their voice. Newcomers catch up in days, not weeks.

  • Solo the soprano
Drill your line until it's second nature.
  • Mute yourself
Sing against the others to lock in blend and tuning.
  • Score that scrolls
Sheet music and lyrics follow the audio in real time.
  • Catch up between rehearsals
Missed Tuesday? Walk into Thursday already caught up.
For bands

Every instrument, isolated or in the mix.

Guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals, brass, strings — whatever your lineup. Mute the guitar to drill the bass groove. Solo the vocal to learn the melody. Loop the bridge until the changes stick.

  • Your instrument, isolated
Hear the part exactly as it was recorded.
  • Band-minus-one
Mute yourself, play along with the rest.
  • Own the groove
Loop the bridge. Drill the pocket. Lock with the drummer.
  • Practice on the commute
    Oversized controls, one-hand safe.
For leaders

You curate. They practice.

One workspace. One source of truth. No more emailing zip files or chasing who opened what.

Starify vs. the hacks

Not your Drive. Not a catalog. Not a karaoke hack.

The tools you're using today weren't built to help your band rehearse. Starify was.

Drive / Dropbox

Stores the files. Doesn't help anyone practice. Forget passages, loops, solo-mute.

Catalog apps

Great for canonical repertoire. Useless the second you want to rehearse your own arrangements or a new piece.

Karaoke tricks

A stereo file and a balance slider. No way to loop, slow down, filter by section, or share with the band.

Starify
Purpose-built

Your repertoire. Your multitracks. Solo, mute, loop, slow, filter by section. Web and mobile. One place, one workspace.

Common pricing questions
Do I need both Pro plans?

No. Pro Band covers your band workspace. Pro Musician is a per-user add-on for personal practice features. They're independent.

Can members stay free?

Yes. Pro Band covers every member — they get playlists and passages without paying. Individual Pro Musician is optional.

After the trial?

Your account falls back to Free — no charge, no card. Your data stays; Pro features pause until you subscribe.

Questions

Questions, answered.

What happens after the one-month Pro trial?

We'll email you before the trial ends. If you don't subscribe, your account simply falls back to the Free tier — no charge, no card required to start the trial in the first place. Your data stays; only the Pro features become unavailable.

Can I cancel anytime? Is there a refund?

Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time — you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period. Our refund policy covers the details on money-back windows.

How do we get multitrack recordings of our songs?

Two common paths. Record during rehearsal — each section (soprano, alto, guitar…) records itself on a phone, taking turns; then upload one file per section. Import stems — if you already work with a producer or use a DAW, export one stem per section and upload them. Starify doesn't record audio for you — it turns the recordings you have into a practice tool.

Our band doesn't have separate multitrack recordings. Can we still use Starify?

Yes. You can upload a single stereo mix and still use playlists, passages, looping and slow-down. The solo / mute-per-section features require one recording per section (soprano, alto, guitar, bass, etc.) — but you can start simple and grow into it as your band records more.

Do I need both a Pro Musician and a Pro Band plan?

No — they're independent. Pro Band unlocks agenda and public directory features for your band workspace. Pro Musician unlocks personal practice features (solo, mute, slow-down, on-the-go mode, scrolling score) for your own account. Most members stay on the free Musician plan and let the Pro Band workspace do the heavy lifting.

Can members have free accounts while our band is on Pro?

Absolutely. The Pro Band plan covers the whole workspace — every member gets playlist and passage access without paying anything personally. They can individually upgrade to Pro Musician if they want the personal practice extras.

Is Starify a catalog? Do you provide pre-recorded tracks?

No — and that's the point. Starify is the practice tool around your own recordings. No licensing restrictions, no canonical-only repertoire: whatever your band sings or plays, Starify can turn it into a rehearsal tool.
